You are no doubt aware that general practice has been under increased workload pressures over the past few years. Dr Will Norman has been leading a group of GP’s from all of the locality practices to discuss how we can ensure the service is more sustainable in the longer term and account for additional house building in the town.
Due to the hard work of the team and the CCG Cirencester has been made a priority for additional infrastructure funding. We are now awaiting a central NHS decision whether we can go ahead and really start thinking about new surgery buildings and the services that need to go into them.
